Glorious, glorious Filipino food! →
OMG. I think I need a cigarette after reading this whirlwind tour of Filipino cuisine. (Just kidding, Mom…). My favorite part? Shout out to my parents’ province! The menu is dominated by dishes from Pampanga, native province for both father and son. Just north of Manila, it’s known for the locals’ love of good eating, a quality attributed variously to long-ago Chinese...

Poor, but must eat.
Things are super tight til Wednesday (PAYDAY)…gotta run to the store and figure out the best strategy to maximize deliciousness and minimize $$$. And it cannot involve lentil, rice, and/or frozen vegetables…because I have been eating that for the last three weeks.
