Is it the Rapture???
OR is it Twin Cities Runoff’s The HearSay?
We know you were saving that date for the Second Coming, but why not celebrate that evening with Twin Cities Runoff and friends.
From 3-7 we’ll have our Community Open-Mic (you can still sign up until Sunday!), followed by friends and crew of TCR, and then, from 9-midnight our Storytelling Showcase, the lineup of which we’ll announce later today— and it’ll be sure to give Jesus a warm welcome (but in a “wow these are good stories that anyone, even the son of god, can appreciate” rather than a “Jesus is just alright with me” sorta way).
And after the stories, there will probably be a dance party. Just, you know, something that might happen.
At the Paper Moose Jumpsuit & Co. at Broadway and Central in Northeast Minneapolis! During Art-a-Whirl! Sponsored by Bull Run Coffee! With coffee, beer, wine, and booze!
And it’s a fundraiser, so it’s your opportunity to show us some love for all the great content we’ve been putting out.

You should come to this during your arty-whirly weekend!

Join us for readings, drinks, and refreshments this Sunday night at Walker Open Field. Let’s start a Twin Cities Runoff community. Make sure to email us with story ideas at info@twincitiesrunoff.com.

What’s a perfect way to chill after a busy weekend? Hanging out with the Twin Cities Runoff, of course! We’ll have readings from Runoff contributors (including yours truly) and we want to talk to you about what TC culture you’d like to see covered.

Yes! Join us!

Sunday 8/29 6-8pm. Walker Open Field. RSVP here.

Hey, look, we have cards! And out-of-focus pictures of them!
Hey, look, we have a preview website! You can sign up for our mailing list!
We’ll have plenty of these—in focus— available at FEAST tomorrow. Please stop by, eat some food, check out some arts projects. We’re really looking forward to talking with you.
Who are we, as of right now?
Deborah Carver is, as evidenced above, not the house photographer. She is working on the business aspects of the Twin Cities Runoff, which makes her a publisher, and she’s an editor, too.
Sara Blair is working on events and marketing and is planning our first event in late August.
Erica Edwardson will also be working on events and marketing and will handling the challenging task of organizing social media.
Holly Hilgenberg is handling all things visual. She designed that card up there, and any logos and artwork you see on the site.
Neal Hohman is our marvelous web developer and will transform the Runoff from our vision into Internet reality.
Steph Pituc, culinary all-star, will be the contributing editor for food and drink.
Mike Rowe, lover of all things word- and hilarity-oriented, is our resident contributing editor for literature.
We’re still looking for editors, community enthusiasts, and business-oriented contributors, so please drop us a line at info@twincitiesrunoff.com if you’re interested. (These are currently volunteer positions.) Hope to see you this weekend!

Business cards mean that the TCRunoff is now official! Please follow our Tumblr! Contact us if you’re interested in writing, reporting, editing, photographing, advertising!
